We flew in last week, and out a couple of days ago. As others have said, it's very different to SJV! One challenge we found was that, as a result of their being very limited seating once you pass through security, a lot of people were holding back and staying downstairs in the Costa or at the benches. This meant that there was a rush around an hour before departure as people on our flight and the RyanAir flight leaving at almost the same time, went upstairs to clear security. The queue was HUGE, must have taken us 20 minutes to get through. Very different to San Javier where you used to walk through in minutes. Hopefully they'll get on top of this, make sure more security lanes are open, put in more benches, and have coffee of food outlets airside rather than just landside. Just a matter of time, fingers crossed! There's now a WH Smiths open on both sides too.
